So anticlimatic

Well I guess there's no way to really post without just coming out with it. I'm having a baby boy. Due Sept 9th:) I know some people know already so I kind of missed the boat with the whole announcement thing, but here it is now for all to see. I'm 19 weeks and counting and even though I feel 10 lbs heavier you can't really tell so maybe that's why I haven't felt like I needed to announce because I don't even look pregnant. So I can't really use pregnancy as an excuse for cutting in long lines for the bathroom, falling asleep at 9:30 every night, eating every 2 hours, wearing leggings everyday--you get the picture. I don't even have any profile pics because it kind of looks retarded. This was me on the day we announced it to our family:
14 weeks and you can kinda see the bump if you look. I could still fit in my skinny's buttoned, but alas, that sure didn't last.

If it sounds like I'm trying to make it sound like being pregnant so far has been a breeze....you'd be right;) All the while I've been knocking on wood because I've had no morning sickness and have continued my routine pretty normally.

Now I am in that inbetween stage where I have to unbutton my pants:) Also, since it's getting warmer, finally, I'm trying to find VERY cool and light clothing...anyone have suggestions? I'm already hot all the time, and I know a lot of people think UT summers are great, but I totally disagree. They are WAY TOO HOT. I just want it to be 70 all summer long and then it'd be perfect. I plan to lay by the pool everyday if possible and read some books.

The best part of weight gain though has been the increase of cup size:) already 2 and counting! I can't even imagine what breast feeding is going to be like...I feel like if they are any bigger I will bust out! (haha) You ladies understand.

So remember that special project I mentioned while I was in Arizona?? Well this was it!

A baby boy quilt and a baby girl quilt! Now that we know...I have one boy thing! YAY! Grace's mom is a superb quilter (and Grace isn't so bad herself) and they helped me make my first 2 quilts. It was a great learning experience.

What were your first baby items you bought??

What were your favorite items?

This is GREAT NEWS!! Plus you're having a boy, I couldn't be more excited!! You will make an amazing mother and I can't wait to meet your little one in September! He'll be just about a year younger than Charlie!
So, we headed straight over to Nordstrom rack when we found out we were having a boy and bought some super cute outfits! Our favorite items are having a nice stroller/carseat combo, bumbo, cute wipes/diaper case, Baby Aveeno lavender & vanilla bath set(smells so good), and a wooden highchair!

Yay the quilts look amazing! I'm so excited for you to have a little buddy bud! And I must say you are a beautiful pregnant lady :)

Haha, the above quote is from me, Grace, accidently on my mom's account!

Mom says she loves the quilts too and agrees with my other statements. Just for your information (she just got back from Cairo) all the Egyptian boys are named Mohammed. You could start a new trend and name your son that... except you aren't Muslim.

CONGRATS!!! I actually had not idea you were pregnant. I am so excited for you. Boys are the best! You will make such a great mom.

I can't remember what the first thing is that we bought for Talmage. A bed, maybe. But one of the best hings are all the blankets we got for him. We were given a lot of blankets and bought some. I used received blankets for burp clothes. It was so nice. Also Talmage's favorite toy has ended up being a blanket. He always has one so we go through at least two a day. not really heavy ones just light ones that we can take everywhere.

Good luck!

CONGRATS!! I am so excited for you!!! It sounds like you were made to have babies, so you better keep them coming :)! I got this skirt at old nave a year ago and it is the coolest comfiest skirt http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=55402&vid=1&pid=730581&scid=730581052 and its cheap, so get a couple colors, and they are stretchy so it can grow with you! Congrats again! I am so excited for you! Your going to be a GREAT mom!

Yea! Finally, an announcement! Who cares if you're showing--you've got to talk and get excited about it all you can, right!:) We love a diaper wipe warmer--Nate loves it and it makes diaper changes a lot easier. We also love our Puj tub--it fits in the sink great. Love you guys and are so excited!

Congrats again! I couldn't live without our Boppy. We have also really liked infant gowns because we can cover her hands to avoid scratching, and also get easy access for diaper changes. You may not need a swing, but Neal suggests that you research beforehand about swings in case you do need one (it was suggested to us because of her congestion) since it is one of the more expensive purchases. Good luck with everything!!
