Graduation
Last Saturday my little sister graduated from BYU-ID with her BS in Interior Design. My family and I went up to Rexburg to celebrate her wonderful achievement.
We flew into the Rexburg airport and it was deceivingly beautiful...
Right after some pizza we got back in the plane and flew back to UT
You can see our house right there! I took a pic
The beautiful Wasatch Front.
I was so proud of myself for taking some pictures!

It was sooo cold and windy. All of us crammed into Erin and Nate's apartment
We opened gifts...
My first baby gift! A Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper clutch!
Erin got a cute scarf and necklace from me and Laurel for her 22nd bday we missed. We took the kids for a swim:
and then the next day we went to her graduation ceremony.

So anticlimatic
Well I guess there's no way to really post without just coming out with it. I'm having a baby boy. Due Sept 9th:) I know some people know already so I kind of missed the boat with the whole announcement thing, but here it is now for all to see. I'm 19 weeks and counting and even though I feel 10 lbs heavier you can't really tell so maybe that's why I haven't felt like I needed to announce because I don't even look pregnant. So I can't really use pregnancy as an excuse for cutting in long lines for the bathroom, falling asleep at 9:30 every night, eating every 2 hours, wearing leggings everyday--you get the picture. I don't even have any profile pics because it kind of looks retarded. This was me on the day we announced it to our family:
14 weeks and you can kinda see the bump if you look. I could still fit in my skinny's buttoned, but alas, that sure didn't last.
If it sounds like I'm trying to make it sound like being pregnant so far has been a breeze....you'd be right;) All the while I've been knocking on wood because I've had no morning sickness and have continued my routine pretty normally.
Now I am in that inbetween stage where I have to unbutton my pants:) Also, since it's getting warmer, finally, I'm trying to find VERY cool and light clothing...anyone have suggestions? I'm already hot all the time, and I know a lot of people think UT summers are great, but I totally disagree. They are WAY TOO HOT. I just want it to be 70 all summer long and then it'd be perfect. I plan to lay by the pool everyday if possible and read some books.
The best part of weight gain though has been the increase of cup size:) already 2 and counting! I can't even imagine what breast feeding is going to be like...I feel like if they are any bigger I will bust out! (haha) You ladies understand.
So remember that special project I mentioned while I was in Arizona?? Well this was it!

A baby boy quilt and a baby girl quilt! Now that we know...I have one boy thing! YAY! Grace's mom is a superb quilter (and Grace isn't so bad herself) and they helped me make my first 2 quilts. It was a great learning experience.
What were your first baby items you bought??
